M/s.Tuftsgenics Producer Company Limited is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed for the development of Udumalpet Coir Cluster under the scheme "Micro Cluster Development Programme (MCDP)" of Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of Tamilnadu.

The Project has been sanctioned by the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce, Government of Tamilnadu vide Sanction Proceedings No. 22725/M-CDP/2022 dated 22.08.2022. The Total Project cost approved is Rs.691.72 Lakhs with the scheme assistance of Rs.622.99 lakhs and SPV contribution of Rs.68.73 lakhs.

The Project envisages setting up of Common Facility Centre (CFC) with the upgraded production infrastructure for the manufacture of coir products for the benefit of micro units in the cluster.
